We promise to get better with our blogging lol, like before its been too long since we have updated the blog. We have been busy since our last blog. I started my travel nurse career in Sept 2012 my first assignment was in Gainsville FL. I was there for 13 weeks, its was rough for us being apart durning the week but we traveled on the weekends back and forth and we meet at the boat one of the weekends durning the 13 week assignment. Our plan was to start the travel nurse assignments in Wilmington but after checking into th program we found that Wilmington did not take first time travel nurses, so to get into Wilmington I had to start traveling before Doug retired from UPS so that we could start in Wilmington. From Gainsville I wanted to get closer to our home in Asheville so I took my next assignment in Kingsport ,TN. Now as of 2 weeks ago I am about to start my 3rd travel assignment starting April 1st in Wilmington, NC and Doug retires from UPS on April 5th. We will be moving aboard Pieridae in 5 weeks finially our plans are coming together!!!!! We plan on staying in Southport/Wilmington until Sept and then start working our way south chasing the sun.............
Wow, it's finally here! We have to celebrate when I get back from Skylark.
